RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities:
- Administer our client's SaaS offering located on Microsoft Azure
- Continually improve the hosted environment by introducing automation and best practices
- Manage network security
- Manage internal technical support process for Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems including hardware, software, Printers, virtual machines, and Cisco networking firewalls/switches
- Oversee user requests for information and assist in problem resolution and/or escalation
- Manage support process for server-based applications, including our client's internally developed software, supporting development, sales, and client services departments
- Maintain internal hardware and networking components, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Administer and support major virtualization technologies: VMware & Hyper-V
- Configure and upgrade user desktops to optimize performance and availability
- Assist with new projects including research, implementation, and post-implementation support
- Create training instructions and user documentation for multiple systems to ensure user support across various systems
- Assist with budget and lifecycle planning for network, spec and procure new hardware

REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of systems and network administration experience, with a 2 years minimum experience with cloud-based services or virtualized systems
- Understanding of general infrastructure and application security concepts
- Understanding of and experience with web server concepts, performance tuning and configuration
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices
- Ability to continually identify new opportunities for infrastructure improvement
- Generate usable network documentation and diagrams
- Understanding of system and network security best practices
- 5+ yrs. hands-on experience administering Window 10, Windows Server 2016/2019, RedHat/CentOS/Ubuntu, MacOS, iOS, Android
- Cloud Administration (Azure/AWS) Experience - Microsoft Azure Preferred
- Experience working with and administering cloud-native technologies: Docker & Kubernetes
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, architectures, and solutions including TCP/IP Network Stack, IPSEC, SSL VPN, VLANs, L3 Networking, DNS, DHCP etc.
- Ability to automate admin processes using scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, etc.
- Experience deploying and administering Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop Environments
- Experience deploying and administering Remote Desktop Services
- Experience deploying and administering Microsoft Exchange On-Premises
- Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server & Writing SQL Queries
