If you are a Product Marketing professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  By joining Emerson as a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for various steam products for Process industry applications and will support the development of growth strategies for our steam business.

  • Set global list pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals whilst keeping in line with global product strategies.
  • Participate in business development initiatives, in close cooperation with the sales and marketing resources that support the steam business.
  • Support S&OP and Strategic Demand Planning.
  • Support training initiatives for the sales organization and develop relevant sales and marketing tools to promote our steam solutions. 
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and support product localization efforts.
  • Conduct market analysis and Voice of Customer interviews, to understand key requirements and identify opportunities.
  • Monitor key competitors and ensure market and product knowledge is up to date.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Required (Mechanical a plus).
  • 6+ years of experience in engineering, sales, or marketing.
  • Product manager will be required to develop and present the commercial, technical, and manufacturing aspects of major programs.
  • Knowledge of ASME and specific piping industry codes and standards is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.


  • Advanced Degree in Marketing or Business preferred.
  • Marketing / Sales background used to evaluate market trends, industry projections, and conduct market analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of steam systems and the market.
