Rivet Company Operations LLC "Rivet" is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed Facilities Operations Specialist to join our growing team. The Facilities Operations Specialist shall ensure technical management and coordination of task activities and provide overall expertise for successful completion of this task initiative, as well as ensuring there is adequate administrative support provided, as needed.
The Facilities Operations Specialist will be responsible for the following:
Creation of 5-year facility plan in coordination with the Base Area Facility Coordinator
Creation of a Facilities Safety Plan/Emergency Preparedness Plan
Electronic management database of currently scheduled long-term facilities projects
Creation and maintenance of a facilities historical database
Assist with facilitation and coordination of the Annual Baseline Facilities Review (BFR)
Facilities equipment readiness reviews with the Government and Area Facility Planner
Attendance of required facilities planning meetings with Base AFCs and Planners
Relocatable Building (RLB) disposable/reutilization plan
Emergency and Disaster Response Facility Planning
Construction coordination and Government communication planning
Routine and Emergency Facility Maintenance Support Service
Management of maintenance/repair execution to include communication with Government and de-confliction with test event schedule.
Assist Government with budget planning and document preparation
Assist with any other facility project management services required by the Government
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
Facilities Maintenance Experience
Project Management Experience
Knowledge of Facility Safety
Knowledge of Industrial Health and Environmental Regulation Compliance
Ability to multitask, work with a team, and follow procedures.
Must have the ability to gather facts and use effective analytical and evaluative methods to assess information, plan the sequence of actions necessary, make sound decisions, and solve a variety of security problems.
Ability to work independently in an operational environment.
Strong written and oral communications skills are required
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
