Engineering Tech II at Bio-Rad Laboratories in Woodinville, Washington

Job Description:

The Engineering Tech II services, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance activities on analytical laboratory instruments. Diagnoses and addresses mechanical, electronic/electrical, software and system failures using established procedures.

Responsibilities

Promptly documents repairs and PM activities. Tracks instrument uptime and maintains spare parts inventory and budget. Updates systems with software upgrades, revised method files, and cal/qc files. Supports instrument investigations related to component & product testing.

Qualifications

Education: Two-year degree or college courses or equivalent hands-on industry experience.

Experience: 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

• Technical experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ex. pharma, medical device, life sciences)


• Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical & critical thinking skills


• Extensive experience servicing/repairing analytical laboratory instruments
