The Engineering Tech II services, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance activities on analytical laboratory instruments. Diagnoses and addresses mechanical, electronic/electrical, software and system failures using established procedures.
Promptly documents repairs and PM activities. Tracks instrument uptime and maintains spare parts inventory and budget. Updates systems with software upgrades, revised method files, and cal/qc files. Supports instrument investigations related to component & product testing.
Education: Two-year degree or college courses or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
Experience: 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
