RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead best practice data
collection, communications, and deployment of standards that measurably improve
safety, quality, and cost

* Coordinates with maintenance,engineers,production,andqualityleaders
of the plantsto isolate
root cause and opportunities for improvement;leads
the creation ofsupportingwork
instructions, standard
work, PM schedules,and
quality standards; Validates adherence to procedures and standardsonce
implemented

* Implement
new equipment, equipment modification, and processes that measurably improve
safety, quality,capacity,and
cost.Develops
all necessarysupportingprojectdocumentation
(i.e.financial
justifications,capacity
analysis,FMEAs,Control
Plans,CapabilityStudies,FlowAnalysis,acceptance
criteria,etc.)

* Develop a strong technical
understanding of the various manufacturing processesand
materialsutilized
to manufacture insulated glass units and be willing to step outside normal role
when required by themanager

* Coordinates with vendors and
plants to supports existing equipment and procurement of new equipment

* Manage multiple projectsto
successful completion, often under
tight timelines with changing scopes and priority.

* Createand
maintaina safe,
orderly, and efficient work area

* Performs other duties as
assignedto
successful completion

REQUIREMENTS

Education

*
Associatedegree
inprocess orindustrial engineering,related discipline,or
equivalent combination of experience and education.
