Job Summary
Responsible for small value contracts to include the leading and executing on a tender exercise, gathering supporting data to ensure compliance and audit trail
Job Responsibilities
- To take responsibility for site level tendering/bid/supplier management and negotiation exercises.
- To capture detailed analysis to support the process.
- To ensure all bid's are dealt with in a timely and confidential manner.
- Be aware of the legislation surrounding the bid/tender process.
- Adhere to the Procurement Function policy and procedures at all times.
- Supporting Purchasing Managers by entering requisitions into ERP system and contacting suppliers to follow up on agreed deliveries, quotations etc.
- Ensures Lean principles and continuous improvement strategy are adhered to.
- Adheres to site cash targets/cost reductions and assists in achieving.
