This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.</p></br><strong>Job Summary</strong><p><span>Provides support to Supply Chain Management's Strategic Planning functions including the reporting of current and forecasted market intelligence, management of supplier diversity reporting, supplier sustainability and other Supply Chain Initiatives as assigned.</span><br /><br /><span>Position can be located in US-Houston Texas or Montreal Canada</span><br /><br /><span>No Relocation Benefits provided.</span></p></br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul>\n<li>Conduct detailed financial and operational analyses of the Corporation's business activities to support its global strategic supply chain efforts</li>\n<li>Responsible for management of reporting and processes across the Americas for key Air Liquide initiatives such as supplier diversity, supplier sustainability, capture of savings, etc</li>\n<li>Performs analysis of financial and operating information as requested including: Spend analysis; Data mining from Oracle, MAXIMO, P-Card and other systems; Total cost of ownership analysis; Trend analysis</li>\n<li>Provide additional and ad hoc reporting as needed, including:</li>\n<li>Market reporting and forecasting</li>\n<li>Supplier market conditions and analysis as directed by SCM leadership.</li>\n<li>Supplier and Commodity Profiles.</li>\n<li>Investigate and study supplier cost structures.</li>\n<li>Responsible for the development and publishing of market reporting and forecasting that provides sourcing direction and customer forecasting</li>\n<li>Performs macro economic analysis and has the ability to understand key metrics and trends impacting global supply chain.</li>\n<li>Responsible for coordinating the Americas reporting for key Group initiatives and reporting requirements</li>\n<li>Generates and manages the process for updating Group Procurement's systems per global requirements including management of Americas spend updates</li>\n<li>Prepares presentation documents and assists in presenting finding to all levels of management.</li>\n<li>Makes recommendations on process improvements in Supply Chain practices</li>\n<li>Serve as a business administrator and subject matter expert for key Supply Chain technology including intranet design and maintenance</li>\n<li>Serves as an Air Liquide policy and technical subject matter expert in Supply Chain practices, including: Compliance with Group Bluebook guidance and policies in regards to processes and reporting; Provide support, when needed, on global SCM system projects for assurance of Group compliance.</li>\n<li>Maintain strong lines of communication with Supply Chain Quality Management, Strategic Sourcing/Category Management, and other Supply Chain departments, key customer groups, Corporate Operations Control and other relevant departments.</li>\n<li>Participate in special projects as identified by the Manager, Strategic Planning</li>\n<li>Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with ability to collect and correlate information and data</li>\n<li>Advanced Microsoft Office and Google skills and competencies are required</li>\n<li>Understands underlying mechanisms of customer/supplier relationships</li>\n<li>Ability to synthesize information quickly and summarize conclusions and recommendations</li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n<li>Detail oriented, self-motivated with ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines</li>\n<li>Solution Focused Decision Making</li>\n<li>Entrepreneurial thinking</li>\n</ul></br><strong>Required Qualifications</strong><ul>\n<li>Bachelor's Degree in economics, finance, supply chain or any business related field.</li>\n<li>3+ years of finance, business analysis and economic modeling experience</li>\n</ul></br><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><ul>\n<li>Master's Degree in economics, finance, supply chain or any business related field.</li>\n</ul></br>","title":"Supply Chain Management - Analyst I","datePosted":"2021-04-02T00:00:00-05:00","@context":"http://schema.org/"}
