A Operations Technician job is available through Belcan for a manufacturing client of ours in West Chester, OH. The Operations Technician primarily monitors and operates the equipment and processes under their purview. They operate and control instruments to ensure they are working properly while measuring and monitoring all process critical control points.

They schedule and coordinate maintenance efforts with the appropriate partner departments and handle shutdowns, changeovers, part swaps, and emergency efforts related to assigned equipment.

Operations Technicians record test results and other data to the optimized operation of the plant and equipment.

The position is responsible for process analysis, process troubleshooting, process optimization, and serve as a key person during continuous improvement activities to drive quality, safety, and efficiency improvements.

Provides hands-on operation of facility equipment including; operating control panels, measuring critical control points, performing inspections, conducting changeovers, replenishing materials and supplies, records daily monitoring, troubleshooting process and equipment problems, handing process upsets, optimizing performance, optimizing workflow, improving efficiencies, improving quality, improving accuracy, training other team members, cleaning machinery and the plant, collecting samples, and initial emergency response for machinery.
