Contributions

As a Steampunk Integration/Data Specialist, you will work with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best integrate enterprise systems. Individual should understand best practices for traditional ETL as well as REST API integrations. You will be a member of a development team modernizing a key application for a Federal Government customer. This role requires someone looking to enjoy and thrive in a fast paced, growing technology ecosystem where they can have broad positive impact and see results.

Qualifications

BS or MS STEM related education, with 3-5 years of experience in software-based platforms.
• 5 years of experience as Integration Developer


• 2 years of experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apigee, Talend, and or Open Source integration options.


• Firm understanding of full API lifecycle development; spec, implementation, governances, deployment.


• Firm understanding of API operational concerns such as monitoring, alerting and analytics.


• Understand and recognize best deployment options (i.e. IPSaaS, Private Cloud deployments, on-prem standalone).


• Firm understanding of Microservices and service orchestration patterns.


• Experience in defining business process and data models (UML, BPMN).


• Knowledge of SOA design principles and best practices.


• Integration experience with Salesforce, SAP and legacy Database systems.


• Experience with large-scale data migration (i.e., utilize bulk loading concepts and ETL centric data integration patterns).


• Firm understanding of how to construct multi layered integration architecture. MuleSoft's term API Lead Connectivity.


• Firm understanding of how to decompose APIs into flows, incorporate appropriate error handling, apply appropriate EIA patterns and governances.


• Experience as an object orientated software engineer.


• Experience in a Scrum/Agile SDLC Environment.


• Experience with multiple commercial integration systems a plus. Knowledge of XML, JSON.


• Knowledge of Cloud Hub and API Management is a plus


• Mulesoft certification (preferred)
