Under the direction of the Patient Access Manager the Patient Access Rep I is responsible for registering outpatients, inpatients, recurring patients, and emergency room patients; transferring, discharging and "upgrading" inpatients; reception of facility patients, guest, and visitors; verification of third party benefits; pre-certification and/or authorization of hospital services; and documentation asapplicable.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be highly organized and patient/customer service centered.
Previous clerical experience in Healthcare facility preferred.
