Job Description:



The Pricing Analyst will provide support to the North America business units in pricing implementation, analysis, and strategy. In this role, the Pricing Analyst assist in implementing pricing, point projects aimed at improving processes, efficiency and accuracy of the current pricing environment. Strategically, this role will work to ensure the positioning of our pricing within the market by working with the business units. In addition, the candidate will be responsible to launch a full pricing integration of the book of business for Meritor’s major products with a major customer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead NA pricing integration for KOLA for Volvo (Swedish based company) with LEVID. Process already implemented in Europe in 2014 and intended to be replicated in the North America market where Volvo is expanding

• Merge the pricing of rear axle for MACK and Volvo into a unique system while respecting the profitability of each product family

• Lead Salesforce solution – implementing automated pricing process to reduce cost and accuracy adequate to the specificity of each customer

• Lead development and implementation of pricing strategy relating to each OEM’s specific requirements and profitability targets

• Work closely with Finance and Sales departments to develop pricing for various product lines

• Prepare analysis to guide business units in consistency in pricing implementation and profitability

• Create and execute monthly cash collection forecast and reporting to support Meritor’s cash flow metrics

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of pricing to provide accurate accrual system and causal analysis

• Develop controls to ensure compliance with internal control and audit requirements

• Prepare ad-hoc pricing analysis as required by management


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required

  • 2-3 years of finance / accounting experience required

  • Program management and/or IT solution implementation experience would be a plus

  • Experience with ERP applications (Oracle & Salesforce would be a plus)

  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite required

  • HFM knowledge is preferred

  • Strong analytical and organization skills (ability to recognize and resolve issues)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including with senior leaders)
