What You Can Offer Us
Provide ongoing support for all purchasing activities, catalog and non-catalog requests, and complex bid analyses, negotiations, and award decisions.
Develop strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and a working understanding of supported lines of business and assigned commodities, including a comprehensive knowledge of the supply base and project-specific service level agreements.
Facilitate and oversee transactional sourcing for a specified area of coverage, ensuring scopes of work are clearly articulated, vendors are appropriately assigned, and project timelines and budget are supported.
Facilitate and oversee the full procurement lifecycle for assigned commodities, including supplier relationship management processes and end-to-end purchase order management.
Monitor supplier performance, which includes developing key supplier metric tracking; organize and assist with managing recurring Supplier Performance Reviews.
Lead the order management process for an assigned line of business or commodity, including providing relevant stakeholders with timely and actionable information, visibility to issues, and root cause analyses.
Assist the Category Manager with implementing procurement best practices including continuous process improvements and supplier integration.
Bachelor’s degree required, with a concentration in Engineering, Business, or Supply Management preferred.
Between 3–5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain organization or on a Sourcing team, with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals and objectives preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating statements of work and service level agreements for individual requirements and within a fixed contract strongly preferred.
Wireless telecommunications industry experience, including sourcing or working in the construction or operations functions, preferred.
Excellent track record of identifying opportunities, problem solving, and delivering results.
Approximately 5% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
