Main Purpose of the Role:
Delivers sustainable business results by leveraging Market Foundations to identify & align KCP's priority market segments. Develops deep customer insights and partners with brand teams to build innovation pipeline & calendars. Builds and analyzes customer and competitive insights, translating these into actions that bring value to our customers and commercial activations to enable profitable growth. Serves as a SME for the category and drives all commercialization and marketing activities from global category perspective to bring large innovations to the market.

Role Accountabilities:
Builds and leverages external market and internal insights that informs commercial execution to create and capture customer value
Leads marketing initiatives (Innovation/Renovation) in support of driving a profitable global P&L
Builds commercial value proposition for customers (end-user, chooser, distribution & sales)
Builds and activates commercial sales and marketing plan for launch to realizing revenue
Builds pricing insights and recommended pricing structure aligned to regional pricing strategies
Partners with Customer Marketing to align Reasons to Believe (RTB’s) for product solutions and lead the development & execution of detailed product commercialization plans
Partners with regional & global Brand/Category leaders on marketing and category launch strategy & tactics
Supports Regulatory team with market specific information for assigned product categories
Partners with regional Marketing, Sales Team & Supply Chain, develop launch forecasts & volumes for product innovation & renovation
Partners with Central Digital Operations team to develop & execute digital sales tools, websites, SEO/SEM
Partner with Sales Capability / Effectiveness to build capability of sales organization in assigned product categories to improve sales closure rates
Partners with Channel Marketing & Business Development teams to define channel marketing plan per market, including launch plans for innovation, renovation & product changes
Identifies and leverages best practices & drive synergies across Clusters
Builds capability / competency within the organization against this strategic category
Standard Work:
Provides marketing support to regional marketing and sales organization including sales capability, activation, insights & go-to-market commercialization
Supports product management in key projects for elevating our marketing on and offline – inclusive of data accuracy & digital experience
Leads the translation and activation of the Brand Identity Guidelines for key initiatives
Monitors performance of marketing programs (ROI) and adjusts accordingly
Manages assigned marketing budget within CFI’s
Actively visits customers and channel partners to capture insights and check and adjust marketing programs
Actively works with internal and external sales partners
Acts as a member of the Brand Management Community of Practice to share & learn best practices
Education & Experience
Essential:
Bachelor Degree, in business-related discipline
10-12 years of experience in marketing / brand management / sales roles with a demonstrated track record of achievement and growth in leadership behavior
Experience working with chemicals, pre-saturated wipers and/or regulated products
P&L management
New Product Commercialization
Resolving complex problems and translating to business opportunities
Product & technology development and working with R&D, Manufacturing & Product Supply
Strong business & organizational acumen – understanding of market dynamics, P&L management & commercial mindset etc.
Strong project management skills
Product & portfolio management including managing projects through gate processes
Strong understanding of brand & category foundational tools
Strong analytical skills
Able to make tough, informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track
Able to navigate and perform in ambiguous circumstances
Demonstrated contagious positive energy to influence, inspire & drive results
Able to read, write & speak English fluently
