Associate Director, KCP Strategy

Job Description

Reporting to the Global Head of KCP Strategy, this role supports orchestrating the collective strategic KCP agenda with a primary focus on the program design and management of key transformation projects and Global Priority Initiatives. The role is responsible for managing and coordinating key initiatives that enable implementation of our Growth Agenda, OGSiM and ongoing business delivery through the KCP Operating System. In addition, the role provides a range of support to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Global Leadership Team.

Role Accountabilities

The position will be responsible for:

Strategic Project Ownership: Program Design, Implementation and Change Management; Global Leadership Forums; Global Facilities Planning for the Future; Projects as identified through OGSiM/Growth Agenda or part of the KC transformation Missions/Battles.

Priorities and Initiative Tracking: Build and track enablement plans with the GLT; OGSiM and Growth Agenda development and tracking.

Operating System: Play a lead role in the deployment and management of the KCP Operating System. 

Strategy and Analysis: Analyze data for delivery of strategic projects via partnering with leaders across the enterprise; Interpret results from multiple project components and translate these finding into clear and compelling recommendations and solutions. Conduct interviews, lead brainstorming sessions, find critical business information, and help business leaders develop innovative approaches to their business.

Global Leadership Team: Ensure that meeting agendas represent the key initiatives that reflect the overall priorities of the business; collect, prepare and distribute appropriate briefing materials; document decisions and action items and ensure timely follow up.

Functional/Business Skills


  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including sound PowerPoint / deck-writing experience; capable of catering a message appropriately for a given audience.

  • Program and project management leadership for large, complex, cross-functional, global initiatives.


  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to independently generate strategic insights from data. Very fluent in Excel.


  • Excellent detail orientation combined with the ability to keep things on track, while still maintain the quality of working relationships; effective time management.


  • Capable of providing thought leadership.


  • Comfortable with pushing on conventional wisdom and having a solid point of view; willing to take the initiative and offer creative solutions; proven trouble hooting skills.


  • Agile and Versatile: Demonstrated track record of success working in a fast-paced setting.


  • exceptional communication skills – capable of assisting and preparing materials and messaging that represent the President and the business clearly and effectively.


Essential Knowledge/ Experience


  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or a related quantitative field. MBA or advance degree preferred.


  • 10+ years experience in increasingly broader roles with demonstrated track record of achievement and growth in leadership.•Experience leading complex, global, transformational, enterprise-wide initiatives, and seeing initiatives all the way through execution.


  • Experience working in the context of a large, complex, global organization where working across boundaries and leading through influence are keys to success
