Position Snapshot


Environmental Technicians provides a range of tasks associated with emergency response, hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, industrial cleaning, decontamination of equipment and handling of hazardous materials.



Day in the Life After grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to:



  • Enters confined spaces to clean interior of tanks, railcars, tanker trucks, trenches, drains, oil/water separators, boilers, etc. to remove liquids, solids and residue utilizing different methods such as scraping, scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, squeegees, and shoveling.

  • Performs physical labor associated with cleanup and remediation activities such as sample collection, drum pumping, drum handling, waste bulking, and hand and mechanical demolition.

  • Responds to customer spills and emergencies during normal business hours and after hours.

  • Performs inspections on containers, and collection areas, and ensure all is in compliance, labeled and sealed properly.

  • Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

  • Operates light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to pumps, pressure washers, generators, electric pallet jack, forklift, bobcats, vacuum truck, etc.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What you need to apply



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Preferred Certifications: 40 Hour HAZWOPER, 8 Hour HAZWOPER, DOT, RCRA

  • Relevant experience in the environmental industry preferred

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening

  • Comfort wearing a respirator if needed.
