Basic Job Responsibilities:

The Material Handler serves as production support through material handling including backing changes, move and ship rolls, print tickets, loading and unloading trailers. He/She follows all prescribed safety procedures and standard work instructions. Material Handler responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Completes backing changes


• Moves and ships rolls, print tickets


• Lock-out Tag-out of Trailers


• Completes Utilization forms


• Loads and unloads rolls onto trailer as needed


• Scraps rolls


• May load yarn in creel


• Uses SAP and works closely with machine Operators & QC
