Corporate Community Communications Internship, Summer 2021

Role of the Corporate Community Communications Intern:

This role includes learning about corporate events. In this role, you will be involved with strategic planning for the Trimble Dimensions User Conference taking place November 7-9, 2022 in Las Vegas. The Corporate Community Communications Intern will attend virtual planning meetings, track and research projects as they relate to Dimensions, help setup online registration and assist with tracking budgets.

The Corporate Community Communications Intern will also be tasked with researching and assisting our growing Trimble Inc. social channels. The Intern will be exploring new channels such as Instagam, TikTok and Slack. And, support active social channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Planning:

• Coordinate 3rd party suppliers and staff for Trimble Dimensions Event program




• Create, update and manage events with planning tools, including: Rainfocus (registration tool), Dimensions internal Google site/Intranet and Marketo (email and landing pages).




• Contribute to research projects, such as identifying vendors and partners for upcoming speaking engagements




• Generate social media content/event-related campaigns to share on social media outlets

Social Media Management:

• Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts by creating a list of Trimble influencer audiences and mapping to social platforms to maximize growth and engagement




• Track, analyze, and report key metrics, adjusting social strategy as-needed

Requirements/Skills:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications




• Experience in developing professional content (may include emails, social posts, website copy, video, etc).




• Proven effectiveness at understanding, and solving complex challenges




• Ability and desire to collaborate and support shared goals in a team environment




• Passionate about effective marketing




• Great time management and ability to handle multiple projects




• Experience with Design Software a plus
