Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to problem-solving and/or designs and implement new software applications or programs; coordinate and plan all the tasks required for implementation, operations, and maintenance.
- Develop detailed coding-level flowcharts, action diagrams, pseudo codes, and associated documents from high-level flowcharts.
- Participate in the testing of computer programs, revising and refining all necessary documentation as testing is completed.
- Perform out-of-the-box thinking, collaborate with others, and make a difference every day.
Experience/Preferred Skills Required:
- 1+ years of relevant work experience or an advanced degree without experience or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience in performing all functions of computer programming, using standard design and programming techniques; developing Java based solutions, creating database tables, views, medium to complex stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Experience in fine tuning the SQL queries and improving the application performance.
- Experience in analysis, design and development of Enterprise Java applications preferred, including experience in Java, J2EE, XML, JBOSS Application Server.
- Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design, PL/SQL, Java, C, and C++, creating database tables, views, medium to complex stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Understanding of relational database concepts, creating database tables, views, medium to complex stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) as well as system support and maintenance processes, and experience and knowledge of version control (preferably SVN) and defect management tools (preferably Jira).
