Job Description:

The Clinical Research Contracts and Compliance Analyst is responsible for assisting research institutions with their clinical trial agreement reviews and negotiations. Other primary responsibilities include the development, review, revisions, and/or negotiations of other research-related agreements to mitigate legal risk for clients; developing or revising client policies and procedures; and conducting legal research for assigned projects. The CR Contracts & Compliance Analyst will complete these critical functions in a manner designed to expedite the conclusion of the start-up process for our clients while maintaining a high level of quality
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree or higher preferred; Associates degree in a legal (or related) field will be considered.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:Ability to work in a performance-driven environment with a proactive, goal-oriented approach.Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing/redlining complex legal agreements.Effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.Strong critical thinking abilities such as analysis, judgment, problem-solving, and ethics.Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to work individually with clients and collaborate with coworkers in a team environment.Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and timelines; work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and highly accurate work product.Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze clinical trial agreements and other research-oriented contracts for consistency with external clients' internal policies and contract guidelinesRedline, negotiate, and discuss clinical trial agreements with external entities, including clinical research organizations and pharmaceutical study sponsors, based on client's preferred contract guidelines.Independently manage assigned contract projects; identify potential legal and/or business issues and determine options for resolution of those issues.Work with Senior Clinical Research Contracts & Compliance Analysts and Manager to review and alter deliverables, as needed.
