Position Summary:
BayFirst Solutions is currently seeking a Space / Facilities Management Specialist to support the Federal Protective Service (FPS) in Washington, DC.
Duties/Responsibilities
Develop and maintain procedures supporting the assessment of risks to federal facilities. Capture, validate, and formulate data-based reports utilizing the FPS Gateway and associated facility information and reports.
Conduct in-depth reviews of all regionally approved reports and provide written documentation on deficiencies in policy, content, and quality of the assessments.
Develop a national trends and analyses report on a quarterly basis which is supported by week-to-week reviews of FPS Facility Security Assessments (FSAs).
Coordinate with field personnel in support of Executive Summaries for enhanced FSAs.
Coordinate FSA presentations to ensure the highest levels of quality and compliance with applicable policies and standards.
Provide FPS FSA Modified Infrastructure Survey Tool (MIST) briefings to partners and stakeholders.
Coordinate HQ FSA requests as well as point of contact for external agencies relating to FSA issues.
Provide FSA Helpdesk support for FPS field personnel (FPS Gateway account management, issue triage, service level increases, and requests to government personnel.
Conduct statistical reporting with respect to all levels of data from the FSAs and Threat Assessment Reports (TARs).
Develop responses to the Government Accountability Office (GAO), DHS, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and Congressional inquiries regarding the program, receive approval, and coordinate cross divisional equities and information.
Validate information contained in FPS building inventory and correct incongruent information with internal and external sources and partners.
Gather, compile, and document requirements for assessment operations in FPS Gateway.
Coordinate Operation and Maintenance (O&M) efforts with the Information Technology Dashboard (ITD) and contractor for existing FSA systems.
Develop future requirements and necessary resources for enhancements to the FSA program.
Develop and maintain processes to track countermeasure recommendations and implementation throughout the Agency.
Provide necessary entities with data regarding open countermeasure requests based on accepted FSA recommendations.
Coordinate with GSA and Regions in assessing properties under consideration for lease, new constructions, and major renovation projects
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:
Minimum of six years of experience in related work conducting analytical and support activities related to task area.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data
Ability to read and interpret management policy, regulations, and directives
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 or higher to include Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work effectively with a group or independently
Ability to effectively manage several tasks simultaneously
Current DHS Suitability preferred
