Overview

Telecommute opportunity for candidates in Pennsylvania, within a commutable distance, for periodic meetings & trainings

The Human Resources/Organizational Development Intern will support the Talent Management and HR Teams with designing, implementing and managing key initiatives. The incumbent will work directly with HR colleagues and CAES leaders to identify emerging requirements and assist with the creation and delivery of solutions in the areas of career planning, learning and development, performance management, and talent review/succession management.

Responsibilities

    Collaborate with various stakeholders (functional/operations subject matter experts, HR, etc.) to support the creation of career paths with associated materials, training, and user interface.
  • Contribute to ongoing Talent Management programs, including, but not limited to, high potential employee development, performance management, leadership development, and talent reviews. May include drafting communications, revising or creating training materials and other resources, and determining ways to continuously improve existing processes and programs.

  • Support Learning Management System administration and align available courses with business needs (competency trainings, leadership development, high potential development, etc.).

  • Provide support with troubleshooting and testing for Learning and Talent modules within the Oracle HCMS.

  • Assist with implementation of initiatives related to the CAES Employee Experience Strategy.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum:


  • High School Diploma or Accredited GED

  • Working towards Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources

  • Completion of one or two classes in Human Resources, Organizational Design or Learning

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher

Preferred:


  • 3+ years of PC software experience including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Masters student in Human Resources, Organizational Development/Design, Talent Management or Communications

  • Knowledge of talent management, organizational development, human resources or learning

  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage projects

  • Highly-developed oral and written communication and presentation skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels
