Position Title: Programmer Analyst

Purpose: The Programmer Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of custom software applications designed to meet internal customer specifications. Delivery includes requirements definition, analysis, development, testing, maintenance and documentation.

Essential Functions: The major duties of the job that constitute the fundamental tasks and or responsibilities of the position. Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
1. Works with internal customers to capture and document appropriate functional and technical requirements to ensure solution accuracy and high customer satisfaction.
2. Analyzes requirements, proposals, designs, problems, and issues as required to develop and implement more complex solutions utilizing the defined Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model.
3. Implements one or more components of a solution accurately based on pre-defined solution requirements utilizing the defined SDLC Model. Completes all necessary development and documentation following defined application and database design standards such as properly documenting code, use of version control tools, appropriate change management, etc.
4. Monitors, maintains and provides support for all custom internal applications.
5. Performs necessary peer code reviews and application testing for development efforts to ensure high-quality and reliable applications.
6. Demonstrates the standards and principles of the Five Star Experience in every interaction with internal and external customers and associates. Incorporates the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example and service in every facet of work.

Job-Related Qualifications
Education:
Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, -OR-
* Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent Technical Training with 1+ years of prior required experience, -OR-
* High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of prior required experience
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of prior required experience

* Performing application analysis, design and development of forms as an interface to databases
* Experience using source code control tools with knowledge of basic operations such as Check in, Check out, Branching, and Merging
Preferred:
* Competence in using software development tools such as Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio and SharePoint Designer.
* Competence following a standard software development methodology (Design, Technical Review, Development, System and User Testing, and Deployment).
* Competence using C#.NET
* Competence using VB.NET
* Competence using T-SQL
* Competence using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
* Competence using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
* Competence administering or developing with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or newer, including electronic forms and workflows.

* Knowledge of Mulesoft Anypoint and RAML/YAML.
