SEI is seeking a qualified Marketing Associate to join SEI's Independent Advisor Solutions (IAS) business. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of IAS's marketing and communications administration processes, presentation management and event management.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and attention-to-detail, mastery of organization and an ability to work dynamically in an open team environment. The Marketing Associate will be a member of the IAS' Distribution & Engagement Team, directly reporting to the Managing Director of Marketing & Communications, and is expected to partner closely with the IAS Sales & Relationship Management Team, IAS Solutions Team, and SEI's Global Marketing Team and Enablement Groups.

What you'll do:

Design, execute and administer presentation management, including:


  • Develop, support and maintain creative and compelling presentations for sales, prospecting, demand generation, product-focused and training initiatives.

  • Understand and utilize the latest technologies in conjunction with the SEI brand to create dynamic, best-in-class presentations.

  • Organize a systemic approach to ensure presentations are updated on a regular, consistent basis with quarterly statistics and performance, as well as other pertinent changes.

  • Work in conjunction with SEI Legal to ensure highest level of compliance.

  • Work with speakers to help brainstorm and develop out-of-the-box visuals and animations to better conceptualize their messaging.

Coordinate and track all event management, including:


  • Coordination and ownership of key prospecting events/webinars and client conference events/webinars, as well as internal events (semi-annual sales meetings, trainings, etc.) throughout the year.

  • These responsibilities include being the liaison with cross-unit personnel to handle the following activities:

    • CRM list creation and maintenance for each event, tracking of attendees, and ongoing communications with BD home offices for attendee approvals.

    • Pre- and post-email invitations and communications coordination.

    • Creation and ownership of all presentations related to all events and run-throughs, as well as the packaging and delivery of the presentation for off-site events.

    • Creation and maintenance of all digital and physical collateral for all events, including events webpages, print booklets, etc.

    • Continuing Education (CE) credit management



Organize and oversee all marketing administrative tasks, including:


  • Organize a systemic approach to ensure brochures and collateral are updated on a regular, consistent basis with quarterly statistics and performance, as well as other pertinent changes.

  • Administration and support of our CRM platform for updates and maintenance. Assist with CRM input and updates for regular campaigns. This includes entering prospect or client information into the system, list generation for campaigns, etc. as well as ongoing cleanup of records as needed.

  • Key Survey ownership and execution

  • Setup and logistics for internal meetings and trainings that includes scheduling appropriate conference space, recording equipment, etc.

  • Maintenance of organizational charts and brochures on a regular basis. Also includes support of distribution lists which are regularly maintained and updated as needed.

  • Maintain and update regular calendar of events for the Business Unit

What You Bring to the Table

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or other related field (e.g. Graphic Design)

A minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience

Proven ability to be innovative, including experience developing far-reaching social media campaigns.

Excellent PowerPoint skill with understanding of the latest techniques, as well as a drive to continue learning new skills is paramount.

Well-organized and efficient, detailed-oriented and demonstrated ability to multitask under tight deadlines is a must

Ability to collaborate with various teams and groups across the organization (sales, solutions, legal, global marketing, etc.) as well as external consultants. A high level of creativity; superior attention to detail.

Creative and process-oriented; positive attitude.

Impeccable writing, editing and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative/cross-functional environment and to take accountability and ownership of execution.
