The Independent Advisor Solutions Group has an immediate opening for a strong leader to assume a role on the Trading and Model Management Team. The Trading and Model Management team is responsible for defining the solution strategy for the Trading and Model Management interaction for Advisors and Investors as well as internal stakeholders. This individual will work closely with the technical teams as well as internal stakeholders to develop and validate the solution strategy, as well as support both services for Sales and Service. Collaboration with teams such as SPTC Middle Office, Advisor Network's Sales, internal/external development partners, as well as clients will be critical for the success of this role.

What you'll do:


  • Leadin the definition of requirements, delivery of features, and rollout with a focus on resolving existing system issues and enhancing existingprocesses/procedures ones. Job functions include:

    • Responsiblefor prioritizing existing production issues for resolution

    • Lead in requirement discussions with development teams

    • Conductin user validation sessions

    • Participatein all development planning sessions and demos



  • Managingthe product support for the trading and model management product. Jobfunctions include:

    • Productsupport for sales and service for technical questions and issues

    • Supportsthe feedback process from clients /sales /service for enhancements

    • P1escalation point for Triage on Solution decisions

    • Responsiblefor UAT and rollout of new releases coordination with Middle Office

    • Provideanalytics on issue tracking, resolutions, etc.



  • Abilityto own and manage product plans prioritizes product features, understandthe competition in the Advisor Solutions space, and support the rollout of the product to clients.

  • Ability to work closely with internal and external development partners usingAgile Development methodology

  • Define and test business requirements for the features defined

  • Keep the supply chain delivering consistent value

  • Collaborate with clients and applicable SEIteams (Sales, Business Transition, Middle Office, Back Office, Technology Services and various Business Services) to confirm business needs

  • Participate in client meetings/calls as needed to support rollout or future feature needs for the product

  • Participate in client conferences





What you bring to the table:


  • BS/BA degree in business, finance or related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant investment, service, operational and project/product management experience

  • Proven analytical, financial analysis, organization and planning skills

  • Excellent communication skills (Strong written and oral communication skills)

  • Ability to think strategically but have strong attention to detail

  • Knowledge of Independent Financial Advisors and their clients

  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple initiatives

  • Knowledge of SEI's Technology Infrastructure is a plus


Physical Demands and Work Environment:


While performing the duties of this job, individual may be required to move around the office and from building to building. This may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to be stationary at a computer for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Our office is an open environment. The individual must be able to successfully work in an open environment with a moderate noise level.
