DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises (PE) is seeking a MX Sensors and Shadow (RQ-7B) Electro-optic Infrared Laser Designator payloads Training Specialist to support Project Manager Sensors - Aerial Intelligence, Product Manager (PdM) Aerial Enhanced Radar, Optics, and Sensors (AEROS). PdM AEROS develops, acquires, fields, and supplies life cycle support to tactically relevant U.S. Army Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) sensors that maintain battlespace awareness, enabling rapid situational understanding and integrated operations for United States (US) Warfighters in the US Central Command (CENTCOM), Pacific Command (PACOM), Africa Command (AFRICOM), European Command (EUCOM) Areas of Responsibility (AORs) and other locations, as required.


Primary duties will include (but not limited to):



  • Utilize Program Offices or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) program of instruction (POI) materials to provide input and processing of Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) approved training packages. Act as a liaison with customers and stakeholders to include the Intelligence Center of Excellence New Systems Training & Integration Division (ICoE NSTID) and Aviation Center of Excellence Directorate of Training & Doctrine (AVCoE DOTD), and Intelligence Security Command (INSCOM) G3AIR and their subordinate units.

  • Assist the Government in reviewing third-party training POIs for platforms, systems, subsystems and/or critical items.

  • Assist the Government in developing training certification levels and monitor personnel training progress.

  • Assist the Government by coordinating test and training events with outside organizations.

  • Provide battle staff training to commanders and units, which will help commanders and units to identify capabilities and how they can be used effectively in support of its mission.

  • Provide system familiarization training to other Governmental agencies personnel that employ AEROS systems, which will help the agency to identify capabilities and how it can be used effectively in support of their mission.

  • Support fielding efforts, including system inventory and reissue of assets to the unit with a detailed system demonstration and validation of the ability of unit personnel to operate and maintain the capabilities of the system.

  • Aid in the planning and execution of new equipment training which includes new Material in-briefs, Instructor Key Personnel Training (IKPT) and New Equipment Training (NET) events, as well as Mobile Training Team (MTT) and other ad hoc support requests from PM SAI customers.

  • Ensure that a formal training validation process is followed consisting of the physical performance method of demonstration of set-up, alignment, operating, troubleshooting and maintenance procedures for respective systems.

  • Support the development of teaching aids including training manuals, demonstration models, Interactive Multimedia Instructions (IMI), simulators, reference materials and visual aids. Ensure Technical Manuals are technically accurate and that it meets the requirements of MIL STD 40051-2C and MIL HDBK 1222F.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:



  • Knowledge of and experience with the Army Learning Model (ALM) and other TRADOC guidelines and regulations.

  • Prior experience in operational use of Unmanned Air Systems, such as MQ-1C, RQ-7B (Desired).

  • Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) or equivalent course (Desired).

  • Training Development Capability (TDC) qualification and experience (Desired).


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:



  • Bachelor's degree.

  • A minimum four (4) years of training experience in military systems. Four (4) years military service (E6 or higher) may be considered as military training experience.

  • Eight (8) years of additional experience may be substituted for the BS degree.

  • Experience with Manned or Unmanned Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems (e.g., Aerostats, ARL, EMARSS, Shadow).

  • Experience in airborne sensors and Full Motion Video (e.g., Wescam MX series payloads, AN/AAS-53 Common Sensor Payload (CSP) or PoP 300).

  • Experience developing consensus across stakeholders for new training programs (Desired).

This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. Occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs.

Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information; Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication. Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the immediate work unit.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 50%, using auto and commercial air.
