Overview

This position will have overall accountability for the project management functions within IMTT, which provides strategic and transactional services and support in, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Risk management, EHS&S, Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

* Drives the adoption and implementation of project and program management methodologies and development methodologies
* Promote planning and tracking of project management and budget information, efficiency, cost saving and improvement to processes to support the projects, from initiation to Delivery and Production Support.
* Improves the consistency, predictability, and efficiency of the project delivery artifacts
* Promotes the development and diffusion of project management culture and maturity throughout the organization
* Maintains effective communication with senior management, making them aware of critical issues confronting programs/projects and of the action plans for addressing those issues with either internal and/or external customers.
* Develops and manages the project portfolio management process, integrates the project decision-making with overall strategy, and facilitates on-going global program/project portfolio decision making.
* Identifies needed IT services delivery process improvements and works with internal and external key stakeholders to effectively drive change throughout the organization.
* Oversees major periodic project and portfolio review meetings, driving results and resolving key project and program delivery issues.
* Oversees preparation of key management communications such as project steering committee presentations, status reports, budget reports, etc.
* Oversees education and mentoring for staff and management regarding project management methodologies and best practices.
* Maintains an understanding of contemporary project management techniques and industry practices, as they impact organizational objectives.
* Oversees development and management of the Project Management Office and plays a key facilitative role in project portfolio management.
* Responsible for providing a centralized status, reporting, analysis of all programs/projects with analysis of corresponding impacts to budget, delivery timetables, and resources
* Experience with leading Project Management and PPM tools
* Exposure to ITIL processes
* Great work ethic and attitude.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in computer science, information systems or a technology-related field

* 10+ years in the management of large, complex programs/projects.

* PMP or other project management certification or equivalent experience required.

* Degree in finance, accounting, or related industry area, or a technical subject preferred; CPA or MBA is a plus * Product development and delivery experience a plus.

* Experience managing 2-3 projects of following types: - ERP, HCM or EAM System Integration - Process Improvements/Standardization - Data center consolidation - Infrastructure management outsourcing - Building PMO from the ground up - Data center / server consolidation - Telecom - IT Service Delivery - Demand Management - Information Security - Financial systems * Strong management skills and ability to serve multiple organizations with unique needs.

* Excellent oral and written communication skill

* Skilled in Microsoft Project or similar project management tool

* Demonstrated track record of successful interaction with executive leaders.

* Understanding of both waterfall and agile methodologies (SDLC)

* PMP Certification

* Knowledge and understanding of IT key metrics


POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Typical hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. This position requires overtime and occasional weekend work as job duties demand and requires some travel.


WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.
