Position Title: Senior Analyst Revenue Analysis (Revenue Forecasting & Ancillary)
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst reports on the holistic revenue health of the company which includes Flight and Ancillary revenue streams. The Sr. Analyst will drive initiatives to improve revenue, overall reporting, and forecasting capabilities. In addition, the Sr. Analyst will compile analyses and lead communication with senior leadership, along with supporting ancillary product optimization and commercial initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities
Monitor daily revenue and booking trends and synthesize data to adjust revenue forecasts appropriately
Produce insightful reporting from multiple data sources which drives clear decision making
Step in for manager as needed, through overall representation of Revenue Analysis or communications with senior leadership
Provide leadership and mentorship for analysts on team
Act as a thought leader for the team, proactively improving processes, forecasts, and driving revenue generating initiatives
Efficiently compile, create and execute analyses for Exec level dashboards
Lead processes to accurately calculate flight coupon and validate revenue numbers
Iterate and improve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue forecast to support the budget and RASM guidance process by assembling various data sources and modeling future trends
Key liaison with Revenue Accounting to validate revenue calculations
Perform ad hoc analysis and create models to make robust recommendations in support of revenue initiatives
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant field
Three (3) years of analytical or quantitative experience
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Experience with analyzing large datasets from multiple sources
Highly proficient in an array of analysis tools (i.e. Access & Excel)
Skilled in SQL coding language
Experience with Spotfire or other data visualization tools
Ability to learn new computer programs and applications
Pass a ten (10) year background check (may include credit check) and pre-employment drug test
Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Two (2) years Revenue Management experience
Experience within airline industry
Five (5) years of modeling, forecasting experience
Full understanding of the Spotfire or Tableau business intelligence tools
High proficiency in SAS, R, Python or other analytical tools

Regular attendance and punctuality
Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
