Job Description:
Working as a Lead Consultant of Internal Communications, you will manage and lead internal employee communication and development and design highly complex external communications programs concerning the company.Additional Responsibilities:- Preparation and publication of several or most of the following: employee newsletters, brochures, employee handbooks, and/or materials for employee conferences and seminars
- Involved in corporate public/community relations programs
- Provide information/support to senior/executive management on general business/national media press issues
- May provide support to senior managers or executives in the form of speech research and writing
- May occasionally act as Company spokes person to media representatives
- May also be responsible for trade shows and other events
- Work on complex problems of diverse scope requiring detailed analysis of unique factors
- Establish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s)
- Frequently interact with customers and/or functional peer group managers
- May interact with senior management
- Five years of experience in public relations, employee communications or other communications-related fields including journalism
- Strong, adaptable writing skills
- Must be able to create and deliver leadership messages, develop compelling stories about departmental activities and write about complex technology issues for a mass audience
- Demonstrated ability to write effectively in a variety of styles including text messages, blogs, newsletters, videos and speeches
- Demonstrated understanding of Social Media Platforms
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

- Basic research skills
