Dietary Assistant (Server) Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the preparation and portioning of meal items assigned


• Set up tables in the dining areas prior to each meal


• Replace soiled linens with clean supplies (table clothes, cloth napkins)


• Keep stations clean, organized and well stocked. Maintain sanitary conditions by thoroughly cleaning work areas


• Greet the guests and residents cheerfully and see they enjoy their meal. Promote a pleasant and orderly environment


• See that all meals are recorded on the proper forms. Get the signatures of guests and residents on the appropriate form.


• Perform related work as assigned, including serving and assisting at special functions
