Warehouse Manager at DH Pace Company, Inc. in Nashville, Tennessee

Job Description:

Overhead Door Company of Nashville, a DH Pace Company, has an immediate need to hire a skilled Warehouse Manager. In this position you will manage operations to include scheduling your team, and working with your staff, receiving and off-loading materials, verifying counts to purchase orders, and checking shipments for damage, communicating directly with customers and technicians, resolving all scheduling conflicts, and providing a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and improving operational processes and procedures


• Monitoring the dock so that nothing leaves the warehouse without being accounted


• Hiring, training and developing employees


• Attention to detail pulling orders and documenting changes


• Organizing and participating in physical inventory and cycle counts to maintain an accurate inventory


• Customer service driven to build relationships with the wholesale customers so we continue to be the location of choice


• Operate hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment (including, but not limited to, box cutters, rolling carts, ladders, pallet jacks, for lifts, etc…)


• Assuring a clean and safe work environment is maintained


• Other duties as assigned

• Five (5) years warehouse and/or dock experience and Three (3) year of warehouse management experience desired


• Be team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail


• Have the ability to safely lift 75 pounds
