What you will be doing:
Ingram Micro's Security Business Unit is seeking a Sr. Inside Solutions Sales Specialist that will focus on Veeam. We are seeking someone that has prior experience selling technology, inside sales working in channel/distribution preferred with the ability to take a pro-active approach and identify opportunities and capitalize on them. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to take the next step to prepare if your goal is to move into a sales executive/field sales role.
Function as the SME, you will utilize knowledge of Veeam product offerings to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities with complimentary products and Ingram Micro offerings to build solutions to increase market penetration
Utilize relationship building to networking skills to proactively seeks opportunities to grow the account spend
Generate prospective opportunities through warm calls, pipeline, forecasting and other methods of lead generation
Provide information and guidance to our reseller partners regarding sales and technical training, vendor partner program, support resources and solutions in order to drive vendor/category initiatives
Partner with the account owners to identify potential opportunities to expand on or improve relationships while driving profitable sales
Creativity, thinking outside the box and new ideas are always welcome to help grow the business and generate sales. We are looking for someone that loves to pick up the phone and speak with people and not utilize electronic communications as main source of communication to build and manage the partnership.
What you bring to the role:
Min High School Diploma, 4-year degree preferred
3-4 yrs. of relevant experience, ideal candidate will have prior experience with technology -Inside Sales/Account Management (Security/Backup Solutions or similar preferred)
Prior experience in a role with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals/monthly quotas
Familiarity with MS Office Programs-Outlook, Excel & Word is required
Excellent communication skills- verbal and written as you will be talking to our customers a lot!
