This candidate will be working as a Product Team Lead primarily responsible for production systems support of a suite of fund administration applications. This highly critical and visible role includes constant interaction with many technical and business based teams.
The role will include leadership responsibilities over the Technical Operations Tier 2 team. Daily tasks include managing production environments and related resources for both Azure and on-prem systems, major version upgrades, application deployments as well as providing for detailed technical support through research, analysis and resolution of issues.
What you'll do:
Lead the effort to maintain application hosting environments in accordance with vulnerability requirements
Apply patches to servers, configuration changes, and upgrades to highly critical applications
Analyze, coordinate, and implement technology systems based on business requirements
Become proficient with core applications and/or database systems along with Azure technologies
Provide oral and written technical problem root cause analysis, resolution and application support
Serve the role as owner of Release, Upgrade and Implementation projects and tasks
Participate on cross-functional teams to support business strategies as they change
Participate in various development, support, and production status meetings
Participate in audit/regulatory activities, various operating/stakeholder meetings, and any SEI internal change control processes related to Technical Operations.
What you bring to the table:
Minimum of 10 years prior work experience workingwith an application development organization; must demonstrate experiencesupporting systems and projects from inception through implementation
BA/BS degree inComputer Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field
Knowledge of ITILprocesses (incident, problem and change management) best practices
Experience with Azure and cloud migration best practices, Azure certification preferred
Thorough knowledge of data processing concepts and financial industry/banking operations practices
Thorough knowledge of relevant operating systems, languages, and environments (listed below)
Working with vendor resources and coordinate releases in a fast paced environment
Hands on experience and knowledge of recent versions of Microsoft Windows Server / Desktop environments and related components - Server 2008/2012/2016 Desktop 7/10
Hands on experience and knowledge of recent versions of Microsoft SQL Server - 2008/2012/2016 technologies including SQL SSRS and SSIS Packages
Experience/Knowledge with Web Servers, Citrix solutions, Windows RDP
Knowledge and experience with SQL, Python, PowerShell and other related programing languages
Knowledge and experience with VMWare, SANs, Networking and backup/restore technologies
Experience with automation/scheduling tools/processes
On-call duty (rotation), flexible working all hours including weekends
