Job Description:

Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Commercial Analyst - SPO in our Charlotte, NC location.

This position is responsible for tasks including, but not limited to, the daily activities for the regional and global product charging within the region Americas, the management of regional contracts and licenses for IT products, the purchasing of goods and services as well as with handling of the related financial settlements, various other internal and external invoicing duties as well as various regional reporting topics (e.g. on telecommunication, monthly regional IT status, etc.). IT Budget Management is also a critical area of responsibility for this position.

The position requires a proactive approach to identify problems in these fields and eventually recommending solutions for Schaeffler Group Americans Process and Information management.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Administer IT Product Charging: Generating and distributing monthly reports from Germany, Americans expert in all aspects of product chargings (products, costs, assignment, removal, Global & NA products, overall imprementation and process... etc.), update IT Product Charging system data; Tracking and report changes.
• Various report generation, e.g monthly regional IT status reporting, telecommunication reports (cell phone usage by location and by product) etc.
• Regional responsibility of the IT Financial reporting and review.
• Regional support of the IT Budget process
• Management of purchase requisitions and orders including the tracking of goods received
• Support in quality gate activities in order to ensure the successful completion of small and medium sized projects (Request for Changes)

Required and preferred skills:

• Bachelor degree, MBA preferred
• 5+ years previous experience in data analysis and data mining; accuracy skills and detail focus a must
• Awereness of finance and controlling terminology and processes
• Two or more years experience in the area of IT Financial Management such as IT product charging processes, heavy data analyzing, reporting experiencies, like consolidating data from various sources to one centralized documentation
• Strong computer proficiency: Experience using Windows, Office Suite (Excel (expert), Word, Power Point), Outlook and SAP (BI experiences prefered) required
• Experience in: innovation, digitalization, agile, shared services... etc. (prefered)
• Suppporting goals and KPIs
• Support company programs: MOVE (lean iniativies) , FFQ (Fit for Quality)
