1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

As the Facilities Manager, you will ensure the proper condition of the building and facilities, smooth and efficient operating of all equipment areas and maintenance of all required certifications/licenses for building and equipment for the site. What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Develop, update and maintain written safety and health procedures in compliance with company state and federal regulations

  • Manage safety of building occupants by maintaining and testing life/safety systems; ensure the building is maintained and used in accordance with all codes, laws and regulations

  • Manage on-site vendors/contractors performing construction and maintenance activities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for OSHA compliance and the primary point of contact for all safety-related issues

  • Manage facility construction and remodel activities with a focus on minimizing business disruption and maximizing value

  • Follow an operating expense and capital budget; support and assist business units to stay on budget

  • Provide customer service to all business units and building occupants to support a safe, comfortable and productive workplace environment 

  • Participate in incident investigations; ensure complete and accurate incident documentation and reporting

  • Conduct compliance audits to ensure practices and records—including OSHA documentation—are accurate and comply with all government and company policies

  • Create, maintain and deliver safety training on a regular basis

  • Conduct risk assessments to minimize and eliminate risk, losses and environmental issues

  • Analyze safety and health data, develop metrics and create and distribute reports for leadership

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:


  • 4 years of experience in a facilities management role

  • Knowledge of facilities maintenance, operational procedures and standards, building codes, fire codes, ADA, EPA and OSHA regulations

  • Knowledge of federal rules and regulations governing regulated utility operations

  • Knowledge of reliability-based maintenance strategies, purchasing and budgeting

It’d be great if you also have:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 4 years of experience managing safety and health programs in an industrial or warehouse environment

  • Experience reporting safety metrics (leading/lagging indicators)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other business-related software
