Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Group Leader - Talent Acquisition - North America for our Regional Headquarters in Fort Mill, SC. The Group Leader will oversee key projects to advance the policy, process, tools, and systems related to hiring top talent at Schaeffler.
The role is ultimately responsible for filling Schaeffler's corporate employment gaps through a variety of techniques, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and job placement in partnership with recruiting agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for finding and acquiring skilled employees for Schaeffler's organizational needs.
Have a clear vision of the total global workforce and partner with selected agencies and hiring managers to attract candidates that will be more productive, engaged, and have longer retention.
Maintain and operate the current Applicant Tracking System, Taleo. They will be the key regional delegate to the global launch of Success Factors Recruitment and Onboarding Module. They will be responsible for partnering with the regional Success Factors Coordinator to Implement the system and processes.
The Group Leader will design and oversee the regional college and university recruitment strategy.
The Group Leader will partner with the Global Employer Branding department to define Schaeffler's brand strategy.
Lead the business to ensure new hires help to evolve Schaeffler's work-force through new and creative ways. They will also be involved in the creation of regional affinity networks.
The Group Leader will directly manager a Recruiting Coordinator. As manager, the Group Leader will be responsible for the development and career progression of the RC.
Qualified Candidates Will Have:
5+ years' experience in talent acquisition
Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in PPT
Department Specific Applications - Currently Taleo with transition to Success Factors
Experience in a manufacturing or engineering field preferred
Experience in project management
Bachelor's degree in human resources or similar field required
Master's degree in human resources of similar field preferred
