Does the prospect of serving in a leading role within the global cyber security team of a global manufacturer interest you? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are seeking a Cyber Security Architect to come in and play an integral part in protecting Alcoa from cyber threats. The main objective is to provide specialist-level support for Alcoa's cyber security initiatives, projects, and ongoing activities. This is a global role that has accountabilities for all location operating units.
Major Activities
Play an active role in the ongoing design and development of a cyber security architecture plan for Alcoa by supporting change and transformation from our current cyber security program to more secure states
Ensure compliance with Alcoa’s Global IT cyber architecture and processes and all supporting tools, technology, and organizational components
Participate in identifying cyber risk and mediation, including processes, technologies, and metrics, ensuring ongoing adherence to global cyber security architecture standards
Support daily and emergency help chain to business and resource units on the execution of the company’s cyber security requirements
Support site assessments and threat analyses for Alcoa corporate and locations
Collaborate with regional cyber security personnel, as well as facilitating the awareness, communication, and education for Alcoa locations and employees
Assist in the development of a cyber security vision for the company that defines:
A center–led global cyber security program for data and asset protection, intelligence and threat analysis, risk and incident management, investigations, and compliance coordination.
Optimized cyber security program that balances risk, compliance, and cost to align with Alcoa business goals and IT strategy
Standards and governance for data and asset protection
State-of-security awareness that is measured, tracked, analyzed, and reported
Support the development of a formal cyber security risk assessment program
Support development and maintenance of cyber security architecture of the company, including IT and Business/Process Control networks
Support the deployment of the cyber security architecture for infrastructure and applications worldwide
Support the ongoing development to ensure that the architecture consistently addresses current and emerging cyber threat
Assist in the development, ongoing maintenance and continued enforcement of standards for application security, both for development and production systems
Support ongoing initiatives to develop, collect, and analyze integrated logs for the SIEM to assist in forensic analysis and cyber event response
About you:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT/IS, Business, Math, Finance, Engineering, Economics or Accounting/procurement from an accredited institution preferred
Minimum of 4 years in IT Operations
Minimum of 2 years in IT security
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of Security architectures, frameworks (ISO-2700x, NIST), and technologies
Understanding of process control systems, associated protocols, architecture and security strongly preferred
Certified in CISSP / CISM preferred
Project management experience in leading several small to large projects, and demonstrate a solid understanding of project management processes, methodologies, and techniques
Experience with large, global infrastructure support processes
