SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS: Cary, NC & various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.: Gather buss rqmt & formulate into dsgn specs, preparing sys specs, assign tasks to applicable teams & tracking progress. Perf complete Impact Analysis for sys & document the same. Prep Mainframe dsgn docs for high level and tech solns using MS Visio. Research & evaluate new and/or alternative solns, recommend most efficient & cost-effective app programming soln consistent w/ strategic direction. Work on & prepare documentation for coding, Unit testing, SIT, install process. Prep & review test plans & test methodologies. Provide tech support to resolve defects during testing. Carry out defect tracking & prevention activities. Skills req’d: COBOL, CICS, SAS, DB2, IBM Debug, SQL, Expeditor, MS Visio, HP Quality Center, Lotus Notes.
