We’re the worldwide leading supplier of quality replacement parts, safety equipment, and accessories for the material handling and industrial equipment industry and we're seeking a knowledgable, process oriented, distribution professional to join our Logistics team as a Warehousing Manager, working 8a to 5p, at our Americas headquarters in Olathe, KS.  

As the Warehousing Manager, you'll be responsible for driving timely and accurate completion of core logistics projects, analyzing and recommending process flows, and managing the Operations Clerk team and interns/trainees working in Logistics, and serving as the Americas representative focused on ensuring the team's functional handling of project tasks. Other key essential functions include: 

Profile

• Manage, lead, mentor, select, train, and evaluate Operations Clerks, interns and trainees working in Logistics, including
  
  
  
  • Management of staff overtime, ensuring appropriate staffing levels for meeting productivity expectations
  
  
  • Assisting team members in accomplishing their essential functions
  
  
  • Mentoring and development of staff for future roles within Logistics and other areas of the business
  
  
  
  


• Closely monitor all aspects of the Operations Clerks, interns and trainees to insure the highest levels of customer service and support


• Manage and develop process flows/documentation for all Logistics


• Oversee and manage CRM, NCF, Cross-item, Slotting rules/procedures, Warehousing rules/procedures, New Item assignment, Internal projects, Internal Order processing, and Pickloop Hospital processes


• Develop and monitor reports and KPI’s to ensure primary responsibilities are met


• Use and continually develop leadership skills


• Exemplify TVH’s Mission, Vision, and Values and proactively works to improve TVH’s image and culture


• Travel to Remote Branches for on hands project management when necessary


• Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency

Offer

Qualified candidates for our Warehousing Manager role will possess a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Engineering or another applicable field OR a minimum of four years’ work experience performing a substantially similar role and these skills and experience: 

Must possess a minimum of 4 years work experience in distribution, performing a substantially similar role

Must possess a minimum of 3 years work experience in supervising, selecting, coaching, mentoring and training staff

Demonstrate proficiency in process documentation, both ‘As-Is’ and ‘To Be’

Demonstrates a high level of customer service with a focus on responding to requests and tasks in a quick, friendly and efficient manner

Demonstrates dependability, initiative and motivation with a proven ability to perform tasks independently, accurately and efficiently

Demonstrates intermediate proficiency in the use of Google Mail and Calendar, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 

Demonstrate proficiency in flow charting process and work instruction documentation

Demonstrates effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, divisions and locations

Demonstrates proficient organizational, time management and follow up skills

Must be team oriented and demonstrate a positive attitude

Demonstrates professionalism, discretion and proven experience and ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%

Candidates with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate, a PMP certification, and/or JIRA/Confluence experience are preferred.
