The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Training Supervisor for the site, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Supervising and directing a team of hourly production trainers


• Designing and developing effective training and certification programs for production and non-production staff


• Overseeing, coordinating, and maintaining training plans, schedules, and training records


• Monitoring effectiveness of training programs


• Identifying organizational training needs and ensuring that documentation meets internal and external auditing requirements


• Developing consistent standards for the content of written and visual standard work across the plant site

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Experience in training, education, and/or adult learning in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment


• Experience in developing adult education and training courses


• Supervisory experience


• Teaching experience in a secondary or higher educational institution


• Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
