Reporting into the Enterprise Business Intelligence team, this position will collaborate with IT, business leadership and business teams in the design and development of analytic solutions to drive differentiated service, operational efficiency, and a positive client experience. The BI analyst will work to realize these solutions through data acquisition across a wide portfolio of source systems, data preparation, and data visualization, providing information that is both relevant and actionable.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Business Intelligence Dashboards, Reports, Analytic processes, Key Performance Indicators and reports for all business units


• Analyze data to find actionable insights that lead to great business decisions and new opportunities within Finance and Accounting areas


• Collaborate with business users and key stakeholders to translate business questions into verifiable hypotheses using complex, multi-source data


• Execute deep-dive analysis addressing key business issues and present findings to stakeholders


• Demonstrate great judgment in quickly forming actionable, data-driven conclusions in the face of uncertainty


• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format


• Locate, manipulate, and organize data from the enterprise data warehouse and/or other sources in support of dashboard and report development (Microsoft SQL, PowerBI).


• Partner with varying levels of operations leadership to understand challenges, goals, and pain points, designing analytic solutions to address them


• Enhance/troubleshoot existing reports, tools, and data feeds to support evolving business needs.


• Present results and/or recommendations to key business stakeholders up to and including Sr. Staff


• Work with cross functional teams to develop sustained analytical solutions

Basic qualifications for the opportunity

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting


• 2+ years' experience in the Financial/Accounting area working as an financial or reporting analyst


• High level of expertise using a dashboard reporting tool - PowerBI preferred or equivalent tools


• Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills


• Strong communication/presentation/meeting facilitation skills


• Proficiency with MS Excel


• Ability to mentor internal customers in use of analytical tools
