Job Description Summary

The Campus Safety & Service Patrol under the supervision of the Director, Security provides for the safety of the people, buildings, and campus property through inspections of facilities and monitoring of cameras and access control systems based on established standard operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform safety patrols of campus in vehicle and on foot. Responds to facility and safety issues according to established SOP's.

Complete facility inspections of building systems to include fire panels, fire sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, and alarm systems inspections on monthly/quarterly basis for all assigned facilities.

Prepare and submit activity and facility incident reports as required.

Refer all security matters to contracted or client security personnel.

Provide additional services as requested by client (escorts, employee assistance, receptionist coverage, facility response, etc.) Ability to use technology such as portable radios, smart phones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, etc.

Comply with Cushman & Wakefield Uniform Dress Code while working and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on property.

Complete all required Cushman & Wakefield and client Safety Training as scheduled annually. (New employees shall meet the immediate training requirements as set forth at time of hiring. Failure to comply with the safety training and other training requirements set forth in Cushman & Wakefield's Policies and Procedures may result in disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or termination of employment.
