Summary of Job Duties:

The Assistant Director of Digital Media will assist in all elements of the Arkansas Razorbacks Athletics digital strategy and branding, including the execution of social and digital strategies to build engagement online, across individual sports programs, constituency groups and related partnerships.

This position will manage the day-to-day social media activities for the department and provide strategic oversight to all social media contributors and accounts. This position is designated as weather/event essential

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.



Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education


  • Minimum three years of experience in social media, photography, digital marketing, web design, athletics communications/marketing or similar field



Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience crafting social media messaging for a sports organization or large brand


  • Experience managing digital advertising campaigns for ticket sales


  • Experience with website content management systems


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • High proficiency skills of Adobe Creative Suite products


  • Organizational skills


  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, oral, and written communication skills


  • Ability to shoot photography and videography


  • Ability to work independently, set priorities and think critically



Salary Information:

$35,000 - $40,000 (commensurate with education and experience)
