What you will do

Develop and sustain the overall pricing strategy/ process/ analytics/ reporting to drive market competitiveness and margin expansion for the business through enhanced pricing capability. Lead and drive pricing excellence and pricing strategy for the business (Product Business Unit) aligned to overall JCI pricing strategy and pricing excellence capability. Support the business leaders to develop and deploy pricing related processes, strategies, tactics, policies, and reporting capabilities needed to achieve their financial and operational goals. Work with the leadership team to design and execute strategic pricing initiatives to position the business for current and future growth and profitability. Work with the business teams to define and report metrics that support business objectives and create performance transparency for effectiveness of pricing actions. Engage sales and product leaders to establish actions for improvement in areas that show variance to pricing improvement expectations and co-create plans with leadership to drive pricing results.

How you will do it

• Work with the business teams to set targets, implement strategies and define procedures necessary to ensure consistency across pricing actions and decision-making


• Operate as part of a focused JCI pricing organization embedded in the business


• Leverage multiple systems and databases to provide actionable insights through reporting and analytics


• Provide thought leadership and regularly conduct analyses/workshops to identify opportunities, solve problems and improve business performance through strategic pricing actions


• Provide leading and lagging KPIs for pricing initiatives, compile reports/dashboards and distribute to stakeholders across the organization


• Monitor and report overall effectiveness of pricing execution, and analyze gaps and transparently communicate performance


• Work with sales/marketing/operations teams to monitor the market trends, competition, quantify the impact to plan and align pricing strategies accordingly.

What we look for

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred


• Global experience is a plus


• 7+ years of work experience in analytical roles (sales, marketing is a plus); 5+ years in pricing


• Strong research and synthesis skills (translate data into insights and actions)


• Experience with modeling techniques and pricing frameworks


• Expert in using analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, R, Alteryx, SAS)


• Attention to detail, action-oriented and impact driven


• Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
