SUMMARY The Organizational Change Manager (OCM) leads Jabil IT’s change activities as well as our global IT Messaging Committee.  The incumbent is responsible for facilitating OCM training across the global IT organization and consulting / mentoring project managers and project teams in successful solution implementations.  In some cases, this position will lead significant OCM efforts for key global projects.  Additionally, the role will lead all global IT messaging which encompasses defining the communications roadmap and processes, leading team members, drafting and editing content, and managing the IT communications calendar in partnership with the internal Corporate Communications team.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Support the development and execution of the organizational change management capability across the global IT organization, includes establishing common language around change; development of standard process, tools and templates.

  • Apply a structured change management process and lead / consult on change management activities required by a strategic project or initiative.

  • Facilitate organizational change management trainings and workshops for various levels of IT employees to drive a culture of well-managed change and flexibility

  • Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications in partnership with the internal Corporate Communications team.

  • Conduct impact analysis, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.

  • Mentor and collaborate with project managers to integrate change management activities into project plan.

  • Develop strategic partnerships to enable effective change management and messaging capability to ensure consistency and alignment Jabil vision, strategy and branding

  • Define and measure success measures for change initiatives and monitor progress.  Identify and manage anticipated resistance and consult and coach managers and supervisors to close gaps.

  • Maintain the change management intranet site and ensure that all reference materials are up-to-date.

  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs in collaboration with Learning & Development teams and Business Units. 

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS


  • A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process

  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

  • Flexible and adaptable; ability to work in ambiguous situations

  • Demonstrated strategic- and systems-thinking skills

  • Ability to develop credibility and rapport with senior executives

  • Demonstrated expertise in change management methods and tools (leading global change efforts)

  • Ability to mentor and lead large, complex projects to successful completion

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; delivers clear, concise and influential messages

  • Excellent relationship building and influence skills; ability to move others toward a common vision or goal

  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's Degree in a discipline such as Business, I/O Psychology, Organizational Development or similar required. 

  • 6-8+ years relevant work experience in a related field (e.g. Organization Development, Change Management, Talent Management, Human Resources, Learning & Development)   

Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
