The Plant Maintenance Mechanic will work in a multi-craft role and be responsible for performing routine mechanical/electrical and equipment repairs to the plant including waste water treatment, utilities and buildings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring that all work is done in a manner that supports the Site's safety and environmental programs
Servicing and overseeing repairs of all types of equipment including instruments, piping, pumps, valves, etc.as
Conducting preventive maintenance.
Performing inspections on equipment.
Maintaining a clean and safe shop work environment.
Providing support to other mechanics engaged in equipment repairs or maintenance.
Performing assigned work orders and entering maintenance work history on computerized maintenance management software system (CMMS).
Operating mobile equipment including forklifts, scissor and articulating lifts.
Ability to perform work in confined spaces and using supplied air, if required
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED;
3-5 years' work experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibility in a related industry may be substituted for the above.
Repair and maintenance knowledge of industrial equipment
Experience with chemical process and utility equipment
Solid communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in a small team based environment
