Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, on s'attendra a ce que l'Instructeur de vol I effectue ce qui suit :


  • Dispenser aux etudiants des instructions de vol de haute qualite, sur simulateur et au sol, conformement aux normes de formation et aux normes de securite de la CAE Oxford Aviation Academy et aux reglements en vigueur des autorites aeronautiques.

  • Veiller a ce que les normes du cours, les exigences en matiere de formation soient respectees et a ce que les objectifs soient atteints par chaque etudiant.

  • Former les etudiants en placant l'accent sur une attitude et un comportement professionnels en plus d'excellentes connaissances theoriques et pratiques en matiere de vol. Par consequent, l'enseignement par l'exemple est une responsabilite tres importante pour l'instructeur de vol.

Les responsabilites comprendront mais ne seront pas limitees a :


  • Instruire les etudiants a l'aide de formations pratiques et sur simulateur en respectant strictement les normes de formation et de securite, les normes de qualite et/ou les autres directives en vigueur de l'entreprise.

  • Surveiller, planifier et aider les etudiants afin de leur permettre de realiser des progres satisfaisants durant le cours et de respecter les delais etablis.

  • Faire des rapports en temps opportun et de facon proactive et prendre des mesures afin de prevenir les retards et les progres non satisfaisants.

  • Promouvoir un comportement sur a tout moment et se conformer au systeme de gestion de la securite en termes de comportement et d'execution.

  • Veiller a ce que l'ensemble des etudiants comprennent et pratiquent tous les aspects du systeme interne de gestion de la securite.

  • Remplir en temps opportun et de facon exacte toutes les donnees administratives et les registres concernant les etudiants et les vols, y compris la planification des examens.

  • Enseigner par l'exemple en adoptant une exemplaire face aux etudiants de sorte a promouvoir un comportement professionnel, discipline et sur.

  • Surveiller l'etat technique et interne et la proprete de l'ensemble de l'aeronef et faire rapport des ecarts aux personnes responsables.

  • Participer aux reunions administratives sur la normalisation et le perfectionnement des instructeurs et a la formation interne.

  • Participer aux journees portes ouvertes et aux salons professionnels tel que requis.

  • Determiner et mettre en place des ameliorations pour l'instruction pratique et les normes de formation et collaborer avec les personnes responsables afin d'ameliorer de facon constante les niveaux de securite et de qualite.

Qualifications


  • Grade d'associe ou diplome d'etudes collegiales.

  • De 1 a 2 ans d'experience pertinente au minimum.

  • Licence de pilote professionnel en vigueur.

  • Instructeur de vol certifie de la Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

  • Certificat medical de classe 2 avec privileges commerciaux.

  • Aucun accident d'aviation ni aucune condamnation pour violation en matiere d'aviation.

  • Une qualification d'instructeur de vol constitue un atout.

  • Une experience de formateur ou d'enseignant constitue un atout.

  • Capacite a bien travailler dans un environnement tres structure.

  • Esprit d'equipe et axe sur les resultats.

  • Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication verbale et ecrite.

  • Capacite a travailler de facon independante et avec une supervision minimale.

  • Connaissance de MS Word et MS Outlook.

  • Maitrise de l'anglais et xxx.

In this role, the Aircraft Flight Instructor I will be expected to:


  • Deliver high quality flight, simulator and ground instruction to students in compliance with the CAE Oxford Aviation Academy training standards and safety standards and applicable aviation authority regulations.

  • Ensure that course standards, training requirements and objectives are met by each student.

  • Train students with a strong focus on professional behavior and attitude besides strong theoretical and practical knowledge of flying. Therefore 'teaching by example' is a very important responsibility for the flight instructor.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Instruct students in practical and simulator training strictly adhering to the applicable training and safety standards, quality standards and/or other company directives.

  • Monitor, plan and assist students to enable satisfactory progress through the course and stay within established timelines; timely and pro-active reporting and action to prevent delays and unsatisfactory progress.

  • Promote safe behavior at all times and comply in behavior and execution with the safety management system.

  • Ensure all students understand and practice all aspects of the internal safety management system.

  • Complete in a timely and accurate manner all student and flight related administration and records including planning for examinations.

  • Teach by example by behaving as an exemplary role model to students promoting professional, disciplined and safe behavior.

  • Monitor technical and internal status and cleanliness of all the aircraft concerned and report discrepancies to the responsible people.

  • Attend administrative, standardization and instructor development meetings and in-service training.

  • Attend open days and trade shows as requested.

  • Identify and initiate improvements for practical instruction and training standards and work with responsible people to constantly improve safety and quality levels.

Qualifications


  • Associate's degree or college degree.

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of related experience.

  • Current commercial pilot license.

  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).

  • 2nd class medical with commercial privileges.

  • No aircraft accident or aviation violation convictions.

  • Flight instructor qualification is an advantage.

  • Previous experience as trainer or teacher is an advantage.

  • Ability to work well in a highly structured environment.

  • Team & results oriented.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledge of MS Word and MS Outlook.

  • Fluency in English and xxx.
