Scope: The Director of Campaign Excellence is responsible for working with VP of Campaign Excellence to develop the National comprehensive strategic plan for the assigned MOD campaigns, coaching to organizational standards of excellence, supporting market/field staff in development of local campaign action plans to exceed specific revenue targets via sponsorship, P2P fundraising and individual giving, consultative support around volunteer identification, recruitment and cultivation, coaching around management of expense budget, timeline to drive year-round campaign engagement and spending time in the field with staff to example and support on key meetings.


Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities: * Intense consultation and support to select markets/campaigns, including responsibility for ensuring action plans and key strategies are in place for field staff to meet KPIs. * Participate and support field staff in key volunteer meetings to drive best practice outcomes. * Develop high-level volunteer relationships in targeted markets through engagement, recruitment, mentoring, and coaching field staff to provide comprehensive support of volunteer leadership and participants to develop and achieve personal fundraising plans, while focusing on the mission of MOD. * Model & Coach organizational best practices with regard to recruiting and managing high level volunteers, revenue generation activities, expense and fiscal controls and marketing/promotions and logistics resulting in revenue growth and achievement of revenue goals. * Responsible for coaching, consulting and exampling campaign excellence strategies to/with field staff in order to achieve fundraising goals. * Identify target audiences and build appropriate recruitment and fundraising strategies to help field staff successfully recruit, acknowledge, and retain and upgrade event donors/participants. * Ongoing strategic consultation to SEDs, EDs and Senior MOD staff in regards to campaign strategy, staff and volunteer performance and talent hiring and evaluation. * Produce forecasting and projections reports by evaluating the effectiveness of the on-going fundraising campaign(s), including fundraising efficiency (cost/expense), community engagement, event satisfaction, and overall success of the campaign. * Maintain a working knowledge of MOD's mission and programs. * Perform other related duties as assigned.


Position Qualifications Qualifications:

* A minimum of 5-7 years of directly related work experience in increasingly responsible positions in nationwide fundraising campaigns.


* Four year college degree or equivalent experience

* Demonstrated and proven track-record leading large scale campaigns at all levels of an organization


* Knowledge of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies and techniques required for success.

* Self-motivation and discipline to regularly set and achieve work goals.

* Excellent organizational, interpersonal and networking skills in large groups as well as with individuals.

* Ability to maintain a high level of poise and professionalism in all circumstances.

* Demonstrated ability to take primary responsibility for a number of projects and to complete them in a timely manner with limited supervision.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Demonstrated and proven track record with driving revenue deliverables

* Extensive knowledge of MS Office Suite.

* Capable of working well with a variety of personalities and leadership styles.

* Highly organized and professional demeanor.
