What will your role be?
BIOVIA seeks an experienced Product Manager for its new Scientific Notebook ELN Product.
This individual, who has extensive first-hand experience in the ELN space, will drive product development for this important product.
This person will prioritize the myriad features needed to successfully move our existing ELN customers to our new product and to entice new customers to begin using Scientific Notebook.
Customer engagement and workshopping are a critical component to this position as well as coordinating with other BIOVIA Product Managers to develop shared components and create deep integrations across our product line.
Your challenges ahead...
Define and prioritize necessary features to initially achieve ELN MVP and then become a class leader.
Host customer workshops to understand pain-points and key features for the new ELN product
Work closely with User Experience exports to ensure all requirements are correctly understood
Coordinate a team of Product Managers working on various aspects of the ELN Product implementation
Work with other BIOVIA Product Managers and Industry Process Experience Product Managers to produce a unified roadmap that delivers complete, cross-product coordinated workflows for various scientific domains
Work effectively with software developers and quality assurance engineers to ensure delivery against agreedpriorities
Interact directly with customers at a scientific and technical level during product demonstrations
Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues early
Work closely with other product teams both within and without BIOVIA to define and develop deep integration between Scientific Notebook and other BIOVIA/Dassault products
Lead the definition and development of CFR Part 11 Compliant features on the 3DExperience Platform to be shared with other Platform applications
Develop go-to-market plans that include marketing programs, positioning, packaging, and pricing
Your Key Success Factors:
Education: PhD or MS preferred, or equivalent in the natural sciences from a leading institution.
Minimum experience of 8 years in the product managment space
The desired candidate must have prior experience in as a Product Manager in the ELN space and have extraordinary knowledge of the latest ELN trends and the competitive ELN landscape
Strong analytical, leadership, and partnering skills with deep knowledge of at least one scientific domain (preferably biology, biologics or synthetic chemistry)
Ideally, the candidate will have experience using BIOVIA products or similar in the field
Deep knowledge of RDF and Fair principles
Experience with web-based, multi-tenant Cloud products is a must
Possess strong influencing skills and have demonstrated ability to collaborate to implement change and transform a strategy into tactics for implementation
The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver who has a deep understanding of the scientific processes used in the life sciences and/or consumer packaged goods industries
