POSITIONBusiness Development Coordinator needed for afull-time, staffopportunity withMason & Hangerlocated in Chantilly, VA, Richmond VA, Lexington, KY, Greenville, SC or Virginia Beach, VA. In addition to the roles and responsibilities of the Business Development Coordinator, the Senior Business Development Coordinator (SBDC) is more focused on identifying potential leads that place the organization on a solid profit-making foundation and ensuring the proper execution of new business initiatives. The SBDC has a greater responsibility for focused proposal responses including the creation of content, layout and graphics. The SBDC works closely with M&H market directors to ensure the business development team is in alignment with theirs and the firm's goals. The SBDC has an excellent grasp on the A-E profession and our place in it.

The Work You'll Be Doing:


  • Assists in identifying opportunities that align with corporate strategy and participates in go-no decisions

  • Write, develop, and proofread business development materials. Conduct research on market intelligence for future work.

  • Design page layouts including text & graphics for proposals and responses to RFPs.

  • Assist in developing interview materials and presentations.

  • Conduct primary and secondary research. Be familiar with government budget requests.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:


  • Great attitude and team player

  • Successful completion of background screening process

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism or related degree preferred

  • 4+ years of A-E proposal and marketing experience

  • Experience with SF330 preferred

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance required
