As a Major Account Manager (MAM) for Thales Cloud Protection and Licensing, you will be responsible for managing a list of Named Fortune 1000 Accounts in the a designed region / territory to maximize revenue for the company. Tasked with creating, developing and executing sales strategies for assigned region as well as generating accurate and realistic sales forecasts. The MAM is expected to deliver consistent revenue performance and growth, and will need to opportunistically look at the market for breakout revenue opportunities. (Rev Responsibility usually ranges in $3m - $4.5m range).
Key Responsibility
Ability to identify, qualify and quantify all opportunities within an assigned account;
Capability to close complicated deals and multi-years deals from discovering sales opportunities to contract completion;
Ability to up-sell strategic / custom solutions to a strategic account, as well as penetrating and closing strategic targets;
Responsible for establishing and managing a productive network of channel partners;
Manage, develop and grow strategic prospects, existing customer and channel partner relationships;
Ability to understand complex security technologies and translate to the business, while adding technical application value to each level of the organization; and
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
5- 7 years of experience of sales experience in IT industries;
3+ years of experience in major account sales;
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT or any other relevant field;
Results oriented mindset;
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships;
Attention to detail;
Customer oriented;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling;
Thorough knowledge of the designated territory assigned including, the market and potential customers;
Understand all aspects of the sales cycle; including prospecting, develop of the customer relationship at all levels, and implementation of the account plans;
Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the field of Cyber Security and Data protection;
Experience working in SalesForce.com providing detailed / consistent updates; and
Experience working in a channel driven environment.
